Hello and Welcome to my brand new website! My name is Janet and I am the owner and artist here at Brushed by Design Creations LLC. I started this business unofficially back in 2019 after refinishing some of my own furniture and a passion for creating artistically through paint was born. I made the business official in May of 2021.
I enjoy many aspects of refinishing furniture. I think what I like the best is that there are so many different steps involved and the creativity is endless. Yes, I even enjoy the prepping process involved in rejuvinating vintage furniture and the fact that I am giving the pieces a new lease in life to be enjoyed for many years to come is an added bonus.
My hope is to document the journey and in the process teach you something about refinishing furniture through this blog. Follow along as I work on the furniture, discover new techniques and grow in my artistic abilities on both furniture and canvas.
